It’s a sport that is filled with amazing people and incredible talent and it is a great distraction from the stress of every day life. I never feel happier then when I am playing ringette.
What do you think ringette would look like in 20 years?
Hopefully it will be very similar in rules, but that it will have grown exponentially in numbers. I would love to get more girls and more teams involved, especially at the NRL level. The more people playing, the better!!
Who is you favourite sports athlete and why?
Silken Laumann. I have always admired her story of how she bounced back from her massive leg injury to compete in the Olympics just 10 weeks later and win bronze. That kind of perseverance is unique and incredibly inspirational.
