BiographyIf you could describe your personality in one word what would it be? Trustworthy Have you played any other sports? If so, which one(s)? Ringette has been the only sport I have played competitively but I have enjoyed playing volleyball and softball in non-competitive leagues. What was your favourite subject in school? Psychology What is the place you would most like to visit in the world? South Africa What is your favourite TV show? Game of Thrones If you could be a superhero who would you be? Wonder Woman What book are you currently reading? The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo What age did you start playing ringette? How did you start? I started playing when I was 10 years old because many of my school friends had joined the local team. If someone was wondering whether or not they should play ringette, what would you say to them? I would encourage them to play. Ringette has been a huge positive experience in my life and I’m sure it can have a positive impact on the lives of others too. What do you think ringette will look like in 20 years? In twenty years I think ringette will have spread to many countries and have a much larger following. It is an amazing sport and I believe that as more people are exposed to ringette, more new players will be attracted and the sport will grow. Who is your favourite sports athlete and why? My favourite athlete is Danica Patrick because she is a strong female role model that has been extremely successful in a male dominated sport.
