Core Features
While LeagueStat.com is first and foremost a customizable solution, a series of core features are made available to all clients. Features are divided into areas made accessible via Access Levels.
System Administrator
System Administors (SysAdmin) are given complete control of the LeagueStat.com system including the ability to set up and configure, Seasons, Conferences, Divisions, Teams and Players. SysAdmin access is universal and not restricted. In addition to configuration and data entry tools, the SysAdmin also has access to the following reports and tools:
- Playoff Bracket setup/configuration
- User set up and management
- Player and Team Reports (see below)
- Content Management (if used)
- XML Data Feeds
- PDF Media Kits
- Database Integrity Reports
- Game and Officials Scheduling
- Player Transactions
- Team and League Console snippets
- Game Scoring
General Managers and Team Staff (Coaches)
Teams are also given controlled access to the administrative tools. Staff and General Managers each have their own levels of access but most leagues have opted to give both levels the same access. Team access to the database is restricted to players on their own team. While viewing of other data/players is permitted, each team may update only their own players. Features include:
- Schedule updates and review
- Player Transactions
- Roster and Player Management
- PDF Media Kits
- Player and Team Reports (limited)
- Team Console snippet (customizable)
- XML Data Feeds
Scorekeepers
Scorekeepers have restricted access to the scoring section of LeagueStat.com. Each Scorekeeper can be assigned to a team or to the league as a whole. Scorekeepers assigned to teams are permitted to score ONLY home games for their assigned team on the date of the game. Additionally, scorekeepers will lose access to a game once they update the status to "FINAL". Scorekeepers are encouraged to move the game status to Unofficial Final at the end of the game while the officials and coaches sign off on the Game Report.
Officials
LeagueStat.com offers a small area where officials can log in and review game video or league notices. This feature is used by some leagues and can be configured upon request.
Media
LeagueStat.com offers a variety of data for the media. Most clients have opted to make the Media areas publicly accessible but without links from their main site (ie. a URL is required to find the data). LeagueStat.com prepares data for the media in a variety of formats:
