Biography
Turner Ottenbreit is returning to the Allen Americans for a second season. Last season he appeared in 17 games, where he tallied 11 points (1G, 10A) and 36 penalty minutes. Last season, the Yorkton, SASK native also spent time playing for the Iowa Wild (AHL) and in earlier seasons, the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) and the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL).
Before Ottenbreit ever played 109 games in pro hockey, he spent six seasons in the WHL with the Saskatoon Blades and one season in the SJHL with the Seattle Thunderbirds. His best season was in the WHL in 2017-18 when he tallied 47 points and 119 penalty minutes in 64 games.
Ottenbreit played for the WHL's Seattle Thunderbirds between 2015-18. He was a plus 75 in his last 3 years in Seattle, including a +45 in the 2016-17 season. He played 4 games for the AHL's San Antonio Rampage in the 2017-18 season, scoring 1 goal
