Biography
Savage has been a Mariners alternate captain in each of the first two seasons of the franchise, but has also seen significant time in the AHL. In 2018-19, Savage was loaned to the Milwaukee Admirals in January, and spent the remainder of the season there, re-signing for 2019-20.
Although he was under contract with the Admirals last season, he suited up in just two games for Milwaukee and spent the majority of the year in Maine. Prior to the Mariners, Savage played for the Jacksonville IceMen, and also has further AHL experience with the Cleveland Monsters. Savage was a part of the U.S. National Team Development Program for two seasons before heading to Boston College, where he played for the Eagles from 2013-17.
Battling injuries at the end of 18-19 and again in 19-20, Savage looks to get his game back on track in 20-21.
