Biography
The "original Mariner," Kile became the first player to sign a contract with the Maine Mariners in July of 2018. Since then, he's spent parts of all four seasons wearing the Mariners uniform, some including longer stints than others. After loans to numerous AHL organizations over his first two seasons in Maine, he settled in with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in 2021-22, eventually signing a contract with them, and returning for 2022-23. Kile is among the Mariners franchise career leaders in most offensive categories and holds several key distinctions for the franchise, including the game-winning goal in the team's first ever win - on October 21st, 2018 against Newfoundland. Prior to becoming a Mariner, Kile played in the Rochester Americans AHL system, including time for their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones. He finished his college career in 2017, captaining his hometown Michigan Wolverines.
