Biography

Since arriving midway through the 2018-19 season, Fox has simply become one of the Mariners' "franchise players," and enters 2020-21 as the franchise leader in goals. A "late bloomer" to the ECHL, Fox played three seasons in the Southern Professional Hockey League from 2016-19 with the Mississippi RiverKings and Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs. His first ECHL chance came at the end of the 2017-18 season with the Reading Royals, which included a playoff game.

Fox signed with the Mariners in January 2019 from Roanoke, and finished the season with 26 points in 37 games for Maine, including 16 goals, which was third on the team. He proceeded to score a team best 23 goals in 2019-20, and also made his AHL debut with the Hartford Wolf Pack on a two game loan.

Fox played Division III college hockey for SUNY-Plattsburgh from 2012-16. Prior to college, he had stints in the OHJL with the Whitby Fury and the EJHL's New York Apple Core.

Fox enters 2020-21 as one of the primary scoring options on the roster and a fan favorite in Maine.
