Reading native: Played for Muhlenberg High School in Berks County. Graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 2010. Also attended Muhlenberg Elementary and middle school. Started schooling at St. Margaret's locally. Was a Royals season ticket holder growing up and sat in section 106 at Santander Arena. Mother Susan frequently sings Star Spangled Banner or Oh Canada at Royals games when Steven is playing...Older bro Jon, a former Royals player, is a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch.  

2018-19: Averaged more than a point-per-game for first time in ECHL career...Returned from AHL for final game of Royals regular season and registered 2 goals, including tying strike to help REA overcome 2-goal deficit (4/6 vs. ADK)...Scored six seconds into second period, the fastest goal into a period in Royals history (12/15 vs. ALN) and registered point for 13th straight game, the longest by an ECHL player at the time (10g, 10a)...100th professional point (NFL, Dec. 7). 

2017-18: One of ten Royals to tally at least 10 goals... Played defense for the first time in his life 12/1/17 at WHL as Royals overcame two-goal deficit in 3rd per. playing with three healthy defensemen...Two assists in :14 during third period vs. WHL, tying the game (12/2/17).

2016-17: Nine multi-point games with Reading...Career-best three points vs. ADK (1/27/17)...First ECHL goal in season debut vs. ELM (10/15/16).

2015-16: First pro goal in eighth game for Lehigh Valley was a short-handed, empty-net tally vs. St. John's (AHL).

Maine - NCAA: Captained Maine in his senior season and signed ATO with Flyers on March 9, 2016...Personal best 10 goals during his sophomore season.
