Biography
Career Notes: Pro: Signed with Tulsa after finishing his college career at Bowling Green State University in March 2015. 2015-16: Had eight points (four goals, four assists) in his first 10 pro games at the the end of the season with the Oilers. Scored first career goal 4/1/16 at Quad City.
College: Compiled 67 points (34 goals, 33 assists) in 145 games at BGSU from 2012-16. 2015-16: Recorded four goals and eight assists in 28 games his senior year with the Falcons. 2014-15: Set a career high with ten assists and 21 points in 39 games as a junior. 2013-14: Scored a career best 13 goals and added eight assists in 38 games as a sophomore. 2012-13: Appeared in a career high 40 games as a freshman, with six goals and seven assists.
Juniors: After two seasons with the EJHL's Bay State Breakers, Murphy started his final season of juniors with the BCHL's Coquitlam Express in 2011-12. Finished that season in the CCHL, where he had 63 points (31 goals, 32 assists) in 44 games for the Carleton Place Canadians.
