Biography
• Signed with the Condors on July 24, 2013… • Loaned from the Tulsa Oilers to the Lake Erie Monsters in the 2012-13 season, earning three points (1g-2a) in 16 games with the Monsters. • Named a CHL Man of the Year Finalist for his work with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). • Played parts of three seasons in the CHL with the Oilers, scoring 61 goals and tallying 68 assists. • Scored Miami's first goal in the 2009 NCAA Championship vs. Boston University. • Attended AHL training camp with Iowa in 2013.
Became the Allen Americans all-time single season leader in goals passing Bruce Graham and Nino Musitelli (34) on 2/20/15. Steffes became the Americans first 40 goal scorer in team history on 3/14/15 scoring two goals in Allen’s 5-3 loss at Rapid City. Gary finished the regular season with 44 goals.
