BiographyTwo-time Kelly Cup Champion Dyson Stevenson returns to the Allen Americans after spending the last four seasons with the Wichita Thunder and the Utica Comets. He has skated in 126 games for the Americans’ where he totaled 233 penalty minutes. Last season he played in the AHL with the Utica Comets totaling 59 penalty minutes in 33 games. Stevenson played his first pro game for the Bakersfield Condors in the ECHL back in the 2012-13 season. The Allen Americans first acquired Stevenson back in the 2014-15 season, where he played four games in the regular season before playoffs. In the 2015 Kelly Cup playoffs, he skated in 23 games, talling 8 points (3G, 5A). Stevenson is one of the only players to wear the number 26 for the Americans’ outside of Co-Captain Spencer Asuchak. He was an essential part of the Americans run to winning two Kelly Cup titles, appearing in 131 regular season games in 2014-15 and 2015-16. He collected 54 points (19g, 36a) to go along with 221 penalty minutes also played in 55 playoff games, notching 17 points (4g, 13a). Prior to turning pro, Stevenson played three seasons for the Western Hockey League's Regina Pats and was coached by current Thunder Head Coach Malcolm Cameron.
