Went undrafted in the CHL and signed with the Barrie Colts as a junior free agent on 9/3/13... posted 51 points in his rookie OHL season and was named to the OHL's First All-Rookie Team... in his second season with Barrie, finished tied sixth in the OHL in goals (43), 10th in assists (61) and tied seventh in points (104)... finished tied with the second most goals in the OHL in 2015-16 with 51, ninth in assists with 55 and sixth in oints with 106... posted back-to-back 100 point seasons in the OHL... named to the OHL's Second All-Star Team in 15-16... ranks fourth on Barrie's All-Time Goals list (118), sixth on their All-Time Assist list (143) and fifth on the team's All-Time Points list (143) yet doesn't even place in the top-20 of Barrie's All-Time games played... earned his first pro point, an assist during his pro debut on 10/15/16 vs. SJ... scored his first pro goal on 10/19/16 vs. TEX which stood as his first game winner as a pro... tied the AHL rookie lead with 11 power-play goals in 2016-17... became the second Heat rookie to score 20-goals in a single season... set a Heat team record with assists in 8-straight from 10/7/17 to 10/28/17 (10 assists) and tied Mark Jankowski for the longest point streak in Heat history (10-games) from 10/6 to 11/3 (6-10-16)... named the CCM/AHL Player of the Month during October... named to the AHL All-Star game but would miss the game during his first call-up to Calgary and his NHL debut on 12/31/18 vs. Chicago... first Heat player to ever record back-to-back 20-goal seasons in 2016-17 and 2017-18)
