Biography
Drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs, 34th overall, in the second round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
2015-16 Highlights: Finished as runner-up in voting for the Max Kaminsky Trophy as the OHL’s Most Outstanding Defenceman. Led Erie (OHL) defenseman in assists (37) and points (43) in 51 regular season games. Registered 14 points (3 goals, 11 assists) in 13 playoffs games with Erie. Named to the OHL Second All-Star team.
Career Notables: 2014-15: Led Erie Otters (OHL) defenceman in assists with 37. 2014-15: Led Otters defenceman in playoff scoring, recording 17 points (5 goals, 12 assists) in 20 games. 2013-14: Named to OHL All-Rookie team. His plus-35 rating was second among rookies behind London’s Mitch Marner.
