In his third AHL season, collected 12-12=24 points with a +13 rating and 17 PIM in 56 games after signing a one-year contract with San Diego on Nov. 25, 2016…set career highs in assists, points and plus/minus, and tied his career high in goals.
Signed a Professional Tryout Agreement (PTO) with the Gulls on Nov. 10 after collecting 3-5=8 points in nine contests split between the Florida Everblades (ECHL) and Utah Grizzlies (ECHL).
Was named San Diego’s winner of the IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year award for his outstanding contributions to the San Diego community.
Scored one goal (1-0=1) with two PIM, appearing in all 10 of San Diego’s Calder Cup Playoff games.
Career
Signed to a two-year contract with San Diego on July 25, 2017.
Has earned 27-27=54 points with 133 PIM and a +7 rating in 177 career AHL contests with San Diego (2016-present), Ontario (2015-16) and Rochester (2014-15)…appeared in the Calder Cup Final with Ontario in 2016.
Played two seasons with Quinnipiac University (ECAC) from 2012-14 where he collected 30-28=58 points 86 PIM and a +26 rating in 77 games.
Helped lead Quinnipiac to the NCAA National Championship Game in 2013 and was named to the 2013 NCAA All-Tournament Team.
Also spent two seasons with Bowling Green (WCHA) from 2009-11 earning 20-26=46 points with 76 PIM in 71 games.
