2019-20

· In his eighth professional season and first with San Jose, recorded 10-13=23 points with 55 PIM and a +17 rating in 48 games.

· Ranked tied-for-fourth among AHL defensemen in goals.

· Led Barracuda in defensemen in games played, goals, assists, points, PIM and shots on goal (108)...also paced all Barracuda skaters in power-play goals (3) and plus/minus…His +17 rating also represented a new career high.

· Appeared in three games with the Sharks, going scoreless with 5 PIM.

· Recorded his 200th AHL point, Feb. 17 vs. TUC.

· Posted first career hat trick along with a career-high +5 rating, Jan. 8 vs. ONT.

· Scored his second career shorthanded goal, Dec. 11 vs. BAK.

Career

· Has appeared in 395 career AHL games, recording 50-154=204 points and 416 PIM.

· Is the younger brother of Gulls captain Sam Carrick.

· Helped guide the Charlotte Checkers to the 2019 Calder Cup Championship, recording 3-9=12 points with 50 PIM in 16 playoff games…collected at least one point in 11-of-16 playoff contests, including an eight-game point streak (1-8=9)…ranked second among AHL defenders in playoff points, tied-for-second in goals, third in assists and first in PIM.

· Made his NHL debut, Mar. 15, 2016 w/ CAR @ WSH…has appeared in seven NHL games, going scoreless with 12 PIM.

· As a rookie with Charlotte (AHL), set club records for games played (76), goals (7), assists (25), points (32), power-play assists (13), power-play points (14) and penalty minutes (94) by a rookie defenseman.

· Was named an AHL All-Star for 2015-16 and 2018-19 seasons.
