Biography
Drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs, 21st overall, in the first round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
2015-16 Highlights: Made his NHL debut on March 19, 2016 vs. Buffalo. Recorded his first NHL point with an assist on April 6, 2016 vs Columbus.
Career Notables: 2014-15: Won the QMJHL Championship with Rimouski (AHL) and was awarded the Guy Carbonneau Trophy as the QMJHL’s Best Defensive Forward. Recorded 32 points (16 goals, 16 assists) in 37 games with Rimouski. 2014-15: Won Gold as part of Team Canada at the IIHF U20 World Junior Championship. 2013-14: Scored game winning goal in Gold Medal game as member of Canada’s U18 World Junior Championship team. 2012-13: Named to the QMJHL All-Rookie team.
