Biography
NOTES - Was selected on 3/29/18 as the Belleville Senators’ inaugural nominee for the Yannick Dupre Memorial Award, which is awarded to one AHL player every season for his outstanding contributions to the local community and charitable organizations. In doing so, he was awarded with the first IOA/Specialty “Man of the Year” Award in franchise history.
2017-18: Served as alternate captain with Belleville (AHL) where he spent the majority of the season while being limited to 30 of his team’s 76 games … After returning from a concussion that he suffered in November, he recorded a team-leading 18 points in 16 games from Feb. 3 to March 16 … Was recognized as the game’s first star in a 5-4 Belleville loss vs. Utica on Feb. 19 after recording four points, including his first career AHL hat-trick and only the second in team history … Earned CCM/AHL player of the week honours for the period concluding Feb. 25 after registering seven points (three goals, four assists) over three games … Was recalled from Belleville on March 25 and made his NHL debut the following night logging 12:20 time-on-ice in a 4-1 Senators setback at Carolina … Appeared in two NHL games with Ottawa and registered one shot on goal.
