Played four years at Ohio State University ranking as the team's all-time leader in games played with 165… won a CCHA Championship during his sophomore season at Ohio State… served as an alternate captain during his junior and senior seasons... established a college high of 22 goals, 19 assists and 41 points during his junior campaign and was named to the CCHA Second All-Star Team... signed with the New Jersey Deviols as a free agent and beginning his pro career with the Lowell Devils... earned his first NHL call-up and made his debut on 2/1/07 in Philadelphia... scored his first NHL goal on 11/8/07 vs Philadelphia... established a pro high of 15 goals, 23 assists and 38 points in 75 games with the Lowell Devils in 2008-09... also served as an alternate captain for the first time in his pro career... traded along with Mark Fraser and a 7th round pick in 2012 to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Kurtis Foster and Timo Pielmeier... played with the Norfolk Admirals (AHL) during the 2012 NHL Lockout before returning to the Devils organization, playing for the Albany Devils from 2013 till the team packed up and moved to Binghamton in summer 2017... served as the Albany Devils captain from 2013 to 2017... signed with the Stockton Heat on July 19, 2016...
